Terms of Service

Last updated: August 2026. Please read these terms before booking or offering services on Clink.

1. Who we are

Clink operates an online marketplace that connects people hosting private events ("Hosts") with independent service and entertainment professionals ("Pros"). Clink is not a staffing agency, employer, or event producer. Pros are independent contractors, not employees or agents of Clink.

2. Accounts

You must be 18 or older to use Clink. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information in your account and for all activity that happens under it. We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these terms.

3. Bookings

A booking is a direct agreement between the Host and the Pro. Clink facilitates discovery, scheduling, communication and payment. Pros set their own rates, minimum hours, service area and availability. Hosts are responsible for providing accurate event details, including address, timing and any conditions relevant to the work.

4. Payments and fees

Hosts pay the Pro's rate plus a 12% Clink service fee. Payments are processed by our third-party payment provider; Clink does not store card details. Clink releases the Pro's earnings after the event is marked complete. Fees may change on notice, but never for a booking already confirmed.

5. Cancellations and refunds

Host cancellations more than 7 days before the event start receive a full refund; between 7 days and 48 hours, 50%; inside 48 hours, no refund. If a Pro cancels, the Host receives a 100% refund regardless of timing. Repeated Pro cancellations may result in removal from the marketplace.

6. Conduct

No harassment, discrimination, unsafe conduct, or illegal activity. Hosts must provide a safe working environment. Pros must hold any licenses or certifications their services require, including alcohol service certifications where applicable. Do not take payment or arrange bookings off-platform for connections made through Clink.

7. Reviews

Only Hosts with a completed booking may review a Pro. Reviews must be honest and relate to the actual service. We may remove reviews that are fraudulent, defamatory, or off-topic.

8. Disputes

Report issues through the "Report an issue" option on the booking within 72 hours of the event. Clink will review the booking record and messages and may issue a partial or full refund at its discretion. Clink is not a party to the underlying service agreement.

9. Limitation of liability

Clink provides the platform "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, Clink is not liable for the acts, omissions, quality of work, property damage, or injuries arising from any booking. Our total liability related to a booking will not exceed the service fee we collected on it.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
