Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 2026. What we collect, why we collect it, and what we never do with it.
1. What we collect
Account information — name, email, and profile photo. Pro listing information — bio, experience, rates, service area, availability and photos you publish. Booking information — event date, time, address, guest count, notes and messages exchanged with the other party. Payment information — handled by our payment processor; we store only a payment reference and status, never card numbers. Usage data — basic log and device data used to keep the service working and secure.
2. Why we use it
To create your account, show relevant pros for your date and location, process bookings and payments, enable messaging, send transactional notifications about your bookings, prevent fraud and abuse, and meet legal obligations.
3. What we share
Your event address and contact details are shared with the Pro you book (and their details with you) — that is the point of the booking. We share data with service providers that run the platform: our hosting and database provider, our payment processor, and our email delivery provider. We do not sell your personal information.
4. Public information
Pro listings — display name, photo, bio, categories, rate, city and reviews — are public. Reviews you write appear publicly with your first name. Your address is never public.
5. Emails
We send transactional emails about your bookings: confirmations, messages, payment receipts, reminders, cancellations and review requests. You can unsubscribe from non-essential email at any time; booking-critical notices continue while you have an active booking.
6. Retention
We keep booking and payment records for as long as needed for tax, accounting and dispute purposes. You may request deletion of your account and non-required data at any time.
7. Your rights
You can access, correct, export or delete your personal information by contacting us. Texas residents and users covered by other privacy laws may have additional rights, which we honor.
8. Security
Data is encrypted in transit, access to production data is restricted, and database access rules limit each account to its own bookings and messages.
