FAQ

Questions, answered

The things hosts and pros ask us most, before they book their first night.

Is my payment safe?

Yes. Cards are processed by our payment provider — Clink never sees or stores your card number. Your pro is paid out after the event, which means the money stays protected while your booking is still upcoming.

What happens if a pro cancels or no-shows?

If a pro cancels, you're refunded 100% automatically, no matter how close to the event. If someone doesn't show, hit "Report an issue" on the booking — it flags the booking for the Clink team, opens a support thread, and we work the refund with you directly.

Can I cancel?

Any time. Full refund more than 7 days before the event, 50% between 7 days and 48 hours, and non-refundable inside 48 hours since your pro has already held the night for you.

How are pros vetted?

Every listing is reviewed before it goes live, profiles show real experience and event history, and only customers with a completed booking can leave a review — so ratings reflect actual jobs, not friends.

What does it cost?

A 12% service fee on top of your pro's hourly rate. That's it — no booking fees, no subscription, no charge to browse or message.

How far in advance should I book?

Most Austin hosts book 1–3 weeks out. Same-week bookings happen constantly, especially for bartenders and party help — the browse page only shows pros who work your date.

Do I need to tip?

Never required. Rates on Clink are the full price. If your pro crushes it, tipping in person is always welcome.

Which areas do you cover?

Austin and the surrounding metro to start — pros set their own service radius, so browse results already respect how far they'll travel.
